It has been many consecutive years recognized as Hudson Valley, NY’s Best Bed and Breakfast, and The Dominion House has been recognized once again in a new way. Located in southern Orange County NY, in the town of Blooming Grove, the 40 acre Victorian horse farm partnered with nationally recognized Hipcamp in 2022. The goal was to expand its overnight offerings by sharing their land for camping in order to help the community get outdoors. In 2024, innkeepers Eric and Susie were named as Hipcamp’s Star Host for their highly rated camp experiences and for being incredibly responsive to their guests. Being avid campers their whole lives, they believe connecting people with the land, and those who care for it, results in more people under the stars. This season improvements are being made to the gravel driveway accessing the field sites, to improve accessibility while preserving the natural biophilia.
